As a consultant and advisor for Broadlake, a private equity investment firm, I had the opportunity to work with Merlyn Showering, a fast-growing manufacturer and distributor of premium shower enclosures based in Ireland. Merlyn had established itself as the number-one shower-enclosure company in Ireland and the UK, but its brand didn’t reflect its position on the market and its leading-edge product range.

I was enlisted to oversee a complete rebrand of Merlyn, complete with a full content marketing campaign pushed out across all digital channels. My goal was to increase the company’s value prior to its purchase that same year for $70m.

With my strategic guidance, Merlyn became the first to market with innovations, solidifying its position as the premium shower-enclosure brand in Europe offering award-winning, innovative, luxurious enclosures, and exceptional customer service. The rebrand and community built contributed meaningfully to both the subsequent growth and overall sale price of Merlyn as it was sold to Norcros PLC for 70 Million euros.
